In spite of the freezing temperatures and snow on the ground Banbury Camera Club meeting went ahead as planned on 5 January 2026.

Nicholas Posner has compiled an amazing collection of photos of well known people. Many of his images are held by the National Portrait Gallery and can be seen via this link. He has now photographed 7 prime ministers and many more senior members of government.

His continued work with politicians led him to photograph Lord Heseltine (whose name appears in the name of our gallery and lecture theatre).

Lord Heseltine introduced Nicholas Posner to his Thenford project – to photograph and catalogue every plant within the arboretum. He has been a regular visitor to Thenford since then.

Banbury Camera Club last visited Thenford in May 2016. Its just 2 miles from Chenderit School.
