On Monday 28th November Banbury Camera Club had a different style of practical evening with a “Pop-up Studio”.
Over the years the club inherited quite a collection of first class studio equipment, often from past members who can no longer use it. This includes studio lights, light boxes, reflectors and various stands. Unfortunately these are only occasionally in use, but were brought out on this occasion.
A studio was set up in the Lecture Theatre of Chenderit School, our regular meeting venue, with two club members acting as models. Members were able to try out their own cameras using flash triggers to operate the lights.
This is familiar ground for some members who were able to help others who are either new to photography or specialise in other types. The images below taken on the evening show the setup in use.
